Our History

Since 1976, Continental Claims Service, Inc. has been providing its clients with insurance adjustment and investigative services in Puerto Rico, being characterized by its professionalism and fast response time.

Founded in 1975 by Ismael Roque Sr., a former Kemper Branch Manager, Continental Claims Service Inc. has been providing local and stateside clients with investigative and adjuster services in a prompt and professional manner.

Our efforts have earned us a reputation for excellency in assisting our clients in the timely resolution of cases and cost containment of losses.

Our technical staff is comprised of eleven highly qualified and fully bilingual (English and Spanish) adjusters and four supervisors averaging 18 years of experience.

Ismael Roque, Jr. - President

Ismael started working with his father as soon as he graduated from college in 1984 and has been an all lines license adjuster since 1985.  He has handled catastrophe losses such as hurricanes Hugo and George, as well as successfully implementing dedicated units for local and stateside clients. He supervises all business and is in charge of the quality control of our work product.  Mr. Roque Jr, updates his education attending annually continued education seminars and courses in both commercial property and personal lines coverage course work.  Also attends annually stateside seminars of PRLB and ACE looking to expand his knowledge and business.  He was president of the Puerto Rico Claims Managers Association from 2004 to 2006, where he implemented AIC courses for claims managers for the first time.  Mr. Roque Jr, has also given various presentations on loss prevention, most notably giving an Eartquake seminar at the 2005 Acodese Convention.

  • University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus – BS in Business Administration with a minor on Finance.

David Roque, Vice - President

David graduated in 1991 from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in finance.  In October 1990 he was employed as a formal employee for CCS and also obtained the license as independent adjuster.  In his 18 years of experience he has been handling automobile, casualty, property claims and other lines.  He was promoted as Claims Supervisor in 1997 and in 1999 he was designated as  Vice president.

Rene Rivera,  Claims Supervisor

Rene came to Continental Claims Service, Inc. in 1997. He has had 15 years in the insurance industry mostly handling General Liability and Casualty Claims. In addition, he has worked Hurricane losses during Georges. He supervises several accounts and is in charge of the quality control of our work product.
